| So far, I've learned how to handle a pan lately thanks to having to cook my own meals with Phemy. Frankly with her there I'm a lot more confident making dishes.
Ground Beef, Chicken, Rice, Cheesy Bacon Fries.
But as of now I have yet to make Pastaa that isn't boring.
What about the rest of you, can you cook? |

| I can pretty much make anything if I have the ingredients and recipe. Cooking isn't that hard for me. I mainly just cook steaks, fried rice, pancakes, home-made Mac & Cheese, and pasta(a) though.
Also, have you tried boiling the pasta(a) with salt?

| I'm not experienced with cooking. The closest I can do is heat up shit in the microwave or make myself hot sandwiches. | |

Since I'm going to be home a lot now, I've already been told by my mother that she's going to teach me "girl" things.

| Yikes. I hope I'm not reading to much into that. I'm not really a fan of gender roles, but I do definitely agree that you should at LEAST learn to cook and maintain the household, for your sake. | |

| Pan-fried bacon, nuked ham cubes, and scrambled eggs mixed together and topped with extra sharp cheddar, mozzarella, and swiss is always nice.
Alternatively, throw it all into a microwave-safe bowl and... well, into a microwave. Make sure you also put a cup of water in there.
My favorite Ramen dish is to use Nong Shim brand Shin Ramyun with boiled ham or hotdog cubes, all cooked in the same water. Four minutes before it is ready I put in a couple of slices of either American or Cheddar (the sharper the better) or even Kraft's singles even though it's not real cheese. One minute before it's ready I turn off the stovetop. When it's done I move it off the heating surface and put it in a bowl posthaste. No straining. That ruins it.
Homemade Mac n' Cheese is always amazing. I like to do four-cheese, although I prefer... of course, extra sharp cheddar over all.
I make wicked sick pancakes, so long as I use Aunt Jemima's pancake mix.
My favorite tea by far is simply to use Green Tea and add honey and squeezing real lemon into the drink. In addition to doing this I suck the remaining juice out of the lemon. I love lemon. Earl Grey also works but you need even more lemon and honey.
Pan-popped popcorn is cool. Just get a decent sized pot with a lid and put a bunch of olive oil or vegetable oil on the bottom, cover the bottom of the pan with kernels, mix with butter and get the kernels coated with butter and oil, turn on the heat and wait till the pot's full. Tastes better than microwave shit too.
DO NOT MICROWAVE PLASTIC (unless it's something like a TV dinner where the food tray is made of.. well... plastic). It makes food taste shitty (or shittier).
When I get my own place, I'm getting a shitload of cookbooks I swear I'm gonna start cooking hardcore.
