So I love having pets and I've had many over a year and a half now since I started keeping them. I've kept betta fish, goldfish, and apple/mystery snails.

Well, IDID have two goldfish, but one died today so now only one. And my cat Timmy.

Pets and my family go a long, LONG way. It'd be impossible to name all the pets we've had in the 30 years or so since the spouse began. It'd even be hard to list all the pets we've had in my living memory. Though as of late, we've settled with 5 cats, and two dogs since late 2012.

Cats:

Miss Kitty (Mina), Female
Jungle Kitty (Minou), Female
Neko, Male
Sparkles, Male (I sometimes like to think that he's trans gender though.)
Marshmallow, Male

Teddy

My other goldfish died 3 days later

My cat is currently laying on my chest, very close to my face. Very occasionally me moves into a position in which I can't see at all.

I've probably had about forty cats in my lifetime. Don't worry, only one of them passed. Most were given to other loving homes while others wandered off. I've had a cat in my face since I was an infant. His name was BJ. No, really. Don't laugh now. Here is my favorite cat I've had that's still around.

This is Marshmallow, the oldest cat, possibly older than me. He's always had skin problems, getting terrible rashes on his back every now and then. We've suspected that he's gone deaf by now.


This is Sparkles. He's as angry and evil as he looks. The moment he's displeased with you, he attacks you relentlessly. He's also unfortunately, the fluffiest.


Sorry for repeating the first two words like this is some child's literature, but this is Minou, also known as Jungle Kitty. She meows really loudly, and the most affectionate if timid.


And lastly, this is Mina, also known as Miss Kitty. She flops around when she's excited, and the second most affectionate and least timid of the two girl cats. She's our favorite.

Anyways, these are my aunts cats but I love them like my own

I envy the fact that those cats of your aunt's are willing to be that close to each other. None of my cats get along. ;^;

Ah, don't worry about it, CC; pictures are clear enough. Sparkles is my favorite. And Goomy, your cats are looking darling together.

My mom calls our house "animal kingdom". We do a lot of animal rescue so most of our pets have something wrong with them.
I think the most pets we had at one point was almost 30?

Currently we're really low in amount wise, which is great.
I don't know if anyone else has had 8 almost newborn kittens and they are all sick, but its not a fun thing to take care of.

Picture of my bae, Jinx. (with cameo appearance by my tasty gams) She's, essentially, always in my room. She's there when I get home from school, hangs with me, and sleeps with me. We coo. For those of you who have voiced with me, this is the little hellspawn always clawing me and mewing in an infuriatingly adorable manner. We have two other cats at my house, including Jinx's sister, but they're dumb.

I have two cats and a dog.


I've had one of the cats, Eggo, since he was born, because his mother was a stray we just kind of eventually took in. He's really big, and a tabby, with colors like browns, black, orange, white, and so on, with green eyes. He's very needy at times, being the king of everything, but he still cares for you and stuff. I love him to death.

The dog, Jinx, just sort of... appeared. Snuck into our house. Aforementioned cat had her cowering in a corner upstairs. Not long after our previous dog had passed away, too. She belonged to one of our neighbors, but they eventually wanted us to keep her. She's a black lab.

The other cat, Shadow, was a stray as far as I know, going in and out of the sewer when he was a kitten. Neighborhood kids found him, apparently. Somehow or other, we ended up having him. He's a grey tabby with goldenish eyes, and used to be kind of small but now that he's grown he's a decent size. He has asthma (as well as an abnormal heart, apparently), so he has a lot of attacks when his medicine wears off. He'll steal your food if you're not careful!


So, yeah. Also, apparently we have this curse where we have to have three pets at one time. If we go over, one dies. If we go under, one shows up.

It's good to see that you're taking a death of a pet well, Mana.

We had to leave my cat at my cousins house while we went on vacation. He's never been anywhere else besides here so I'm nervous

Your cat probably isn't in a particularly good mood if he's in an area devoid of his or her scent. Most likely he or she will hide somewhere and hiss at anything that moves.

My snail Orville died two days ago and my fish Walter is dying.

my dog got put down this morning.
