So earlier today, my brother in law gave me a broken Gameboy he had found in his shed that belonged to the previous owner of his house. He gave it to me, and it's basically mine if I can fix it. Gameboys tend to be extremely sturdy, and are made to last, but their Achilles heel of their design is their battery compartment. The cause of its demise was alkaline corrosion from leaking batteries. Looking up online, it's said that my best bet is by using vinegar and rubbing alchohol. I've been doing so this past night, and I've gotten no results thus far.
Do you guys have any suggestions of how I might save it?
