Vent topic.

It is uncertain how long this hiatus will last, and what changes will be made once it ends.

Admittedly, the main reason this hiatus is happening is because I'm running out of ideas as to how I can really involve myself.

The other reason is because, well, I hate seeing this place dead. The vast majority of the hiatus will probably be spent doing things entirely unrelated to Fun Allowed. However, I might look into finding a less restrictive host... eventually.

So I want to try to boost Fun Allowed in a direction that isn't just all caps and emotes, so I'm creating a thread in which you can talk about your current dilemmas without judge.

So I've been stir crazy as fuck because I'm home all day with the main thing to occupy myself is to sit around and browse the internet. I can't drive, I'm entirely dependent on my parent's income to get anything. And lastly, I lack the self esteem, mental drive, and self discipline to be able to get any sort of education, and it's been especially hurtful to my self image. I go for some times half a day without seeing a single human face, and when I do, it tends to be my big brother who sleeps in just like I do.

It really, really gets to the point where I question what I'm doing with my life, and if I'm ever going to be free. Any alternative are things that I just can't imagine doing for the next three to four years because how crushing they are.

Will, I'm sorry. I don't know what to say, but my lack of words don't mean that you're going to be stuck in this situation forever or that I don't care about you.

Nothing is forever, and that includes your current frustration.

If you feel that you've hit rock bottom, the only direction you can possibly go is up.

You'll find the answer to everything, I promise.

Maybe not soon, but you will eventually.

Then, things will be okay.

I believe in you.

And if you can never believe that things won't be okay, or that you can never believe in yourself.

Remember that I have faith in you and always will.

Sorry that the above post is by me but I feel like a bump is needed anyway.

I'm extremely frustrated with my social life right now.

I don't feel close to anyone at all (even my currently established friends).

It's probably my fault because I'm socially retarded and I don't know how to reach out to people and keep a bond going.,

But, yeah, I'm trying to talk to new people and maybe something will come out of my attempts.

Right now, I'm trying to tell myself that I don't need friends to be happy. That I'm fine on my own so the loneliness doesn't hurt.

It would be really nice to have an ultra close friendship though.

i hate my dad with every fiber of my being
he's forcing me to be a christian even though i don't believe in this at all, he restricts my life in so many ways, and i hardly ever get free time at his house

So, I have to register for Spring classes, and it's gonna suck

Basically, 3 of my classes are only available for Spring and each only have one class each, all late in the evening. So, on Mon/Wends. I'll have to go in at 1 PM and leave 6 PM and on Tues/Thurs. I'll go in at 2 and leave 8 PM. ;-;
